F.A.Q Artist Authenticity:

We can understand if you have doubts about authenticity of uncredited artists so we’ve put together this FAQ to reassure your concerns.

How do we know these people actually worked on these films?
Having worked on a regular basis with these people for over 10 years we trust each and every member, many of which still have original paperwork from working on the films or were on set the same days as already validated colleagues. 

Have you ever been unsure of a potential client?
We never take anyone on where there is any doubt, e.g we know 2 people who say they are the Stormtrooper who bumps his head in ANH, we haven’t taken either of them on because we can’t prove which one it is. The genuine person would have been a nice addition to our site and an interesting guest but we’d rather go without.

How did you check out your latest client?
We immedeately spoke with a Star Wars character who is on their own official trading card and can be clearly seen in the film to see if they remembered them. That person also has paperwork and personal photographs with Mark Hamill. We reviewed the film and the scenes they were in or if they’re seen in the Web Documentaries.

Can I see their payslips?
I don’t think it would be appropriate to provide details of our clients agents, address or how much they were paid by the production company in interests of confidentiality and the Data Protection Act. If we ommited personal information I don’t think there would be much left.

Are there any people you haven’t taken on?
Absolutely, there are a few who state they’ve worked on Star Wars but we haven’t taken them on because we either feel they aren’t trustworthy or have been informed by a third party that they aren’t reliable.

Do you have any votes of confidence?
We have recently had many clients booked for an appearance and the promoters business partner is the producer of Star Wars.

I worked on Star Wars, can I join?
Not without any of our members knowing you personally and being able to provide satisfactory evidence.

Working in this business full-time you soon get to see the same people on a regular basis and know who you can trust. We have been aware who worked on what productions for years and it is us who asked them to join, not them looking for glory. We are not an agency and have not taken any commission from personal appearances. We are a voluntary collective of artists. We know through our agents what is being filmed and when it is happening. Stories can be always be verified and checked and we have 100% confidence in our client base. Thank you.
